Intake FAQ
Who is eligible for residency at Safe Space Living?
We support young women ages 18-25 who are aging out of the foster care system or are recently emancipated and in need of supportive transitional housing.
How long is the typical waitlist for the program?
Wait times vary based on availability, but our intake team reviews referrals within 48 hours. We maintain a trauma-informed approach to ensure every woman feels heard during the wait.
Can agencies refer multiple residents at once?
Yes, partner agencies can submit multiple referral forms. Please fill out a separate Agency Referral Form for each individual to help us provide tailored support.
What documents are needed for the first intake meeting?
Generally, we require a state ID and ward-of-the-court documentation. However, if you are missing these, our team will work with you to secure them once you are in the program.
